In my dream last night , i saw a bird lookalike sparrow flew over me and it did not flew away and i was even holding. I was thinking why it did not fly away as usually a bird used to fly away when it sees people coming.
Dreams involving birds often symbolize freedom, aspirations, and the spirit. In your dream, the sparrow-like bird's behavior might reflect several layers of meaning in your waking life.
Connection to Freedom and Independence: Birds typically represent the desire for freedom and the ability to rise above challenges. The fact that the sparrow did not fly away when you approached it suggests that you may be feeling a sense of control over your life or certain aspects of your situation. This could indicate newfound confidence in your abilities or a subconscious reassurance that you are safe and grounded.
Symbol of Trust: Sparrows, often seen as timid birds, can also symbolize trust and vulnerability. Since you were holding the bird, this could reflect relationships in your life where trust is paramount. It might point to someone (or even yourself) being vulnerable yet comfortable enough to rely on others. Consider if there are aspects of your life where you feel you can trust someone or where you might be seeking deeper connections.
Desire for Change: The bird's unusual behavior—staying close rather than flying away—could also signify a longing for change or stability. Generally, birds take flight in search of new experiences or environments. This contrasts with the bird's decision to stay, suggesting you might be at a crossroads, contemplating whether to embrace change or hold onto familiarity.
Introspection and Reflection: The moment of questioning in your dream—"Why did it not fly away?"—highlights your introspective nature. It could indicate that you are currently evaluating your life choices or considering why you hold on to certain things or people. This moment of reflection may be a sign to analyze what aspects of your life you are nurturing and why.
Subconscious Messages: Finally, the dream could also serve as a reminder from your subconscious. Perhaps it is urging you to recognize the beauty in stillness and connection without the constant need to seek out novelty or escape. This might reflect a desire to appreciate the present moment more deeply.
In summary, this dream seems to encapsulate themes of trust, introspection, and the balance between freedom and connection. Take a moment to reflect on what areas in your life might resonate with these themes, and consider how you can either nurture or change those aspects moving forward.
